Issan Ghazni will be taking volunteers from Nottingham and the surrounding areas to support Jill Hope in the Corby by-election on Saturday 1st September. He has already put out a call across the East Midlands Region for anybody living near or along the route to make contact if they want a free lift to Corby. Issan will be travelling from Nottingham on the M1 and then along the A14 straight into Corby.
“Jill is an experienced candidate who I’m sure will fight hard to address the difficult issues and concerns of local people” says Issan.
“It is important that we use this election to highlight the achievements of the Liberal Democrats in Coalition Government and to show how that has had a real impact at local level.
The membership across the East Midlands must come together to do whatever we can to support Jill and to ensure a great result for the Party – only a strong outcome will show our strength and resiliance both as a region and as a party”
